Yes. Tunercat and a chip burnner, along with a chip adapter and you can tune away.

are you going to be sing the 7730 speed density ecm or the factory one that came with your car? if you are converting to speed density using the 7730 ecm, you can get a module that can be wired to your ecm and do the tuning through the aldl connector just like the later pcms.

 

I'm using a 7730 computer and am able to tune my car just fine. But I also use the Moates Ostrich, which plugs into the computer and lets you make changes while the engine is running.

Yes, it will handle 30 lbs injectors.

 

The Moates plugs into the ECM like the stock chip does now, and then it plugs into the USB port of your laptop. You use TunerCAT or TunerPRO to modify the program based on what the computer wants. You need a scantool hooked up to the ALDL to know what fuel and timing settings to change to make the engine happy.

 

id just get a $10 eeprom(the stock one isnt eraseable,so its a eprom) to swap out your chip with. also they have the chip burner on ebay for $15 and tunercats trial is free,you just need the defenition file for another $20 and youll be able to burn all the chips you want for under $50
