Continuing Coolant Problems

I have a 91 RS with a 305 V8. I had a coolant leak, it seemed it was coming from the lower radiator hose so i changed the hose. I didn't see any holes in the hose but the leak stopped after the hose was changed. However the leak has returned. I don't know if it is leaking from the clamp or somewhere else. I don't know what else it could be. It only seems to leak while the engine is running. If you know how to fix it please tell me. Thanks

How old is the Radiator? It probly has a crack or split in it, the plastic tanks are known for that, I have had this in every Camaro I have had, it usally happens on the upper inlet tho because of the hot coolant comming in, but I wouldn't rule it out. Look real close for what looks like a split and when it gets pressure or heats up the split will open up and leak.

Could also be running down the hose from the waterpump's "weep" hole that's a sign that the bearing or seals are starting to go in the pump.

Yes, I had to replace mine because one of the plastic tanks cracked. In the mean time I used a radiator sealant from pep boys and it sealed the leak for about another 2 weeks.

Leak fixer

I had the same problem also. The first time I changed the tank the second time I was away from home,so I tried some good ol'J-B Weld,it was still holding two weeks later when I changed out the whole radiator for a metal tanks. Problem solved.
