cold Air intake

cold Air intake

i have a 1990 iroc z 5.7lt, just wondering my options for air intake, pros and cons etc about what to buy or should i modify the standard plastic trim that holds the air filters, any help would b great. thank you

if nothing else you should gut the bottom of the air boxes (under the filters).

that will help draw air in better. you could go as far as fashion ram air scoops from behind the fog lights to feed directly into the air filters. did it on my old iroc...made NICE improvements on the highway.

i also did some porting to the intake Y in front of the maf sensor. there were some small restrictions taht i smoothed out and cleaned up.
