art morrison has a nice kit out, anything else i should be looking into, i havent found much.

would like to be a bolt on deal, but doesnt have to be. will primarily be used for weekend cruising and drag racing.

pa racing makes a set which is 2.5" id rather then art morisons 3" id if that would intrest you. anthony jones also has a setup but i have yet to see it on the street.

i'm running a custom sleeve adapted to my bilstein struts with an art morrison upper brace and eibach ers springs. using pa racing chromoly tubular a arms and k-member as well.

if you go with art morrison setup i have a set of 250lb hal springs and a set of 150lb eibach ers springs that are 3" id to work with their kits that haven't been used to save you some money.

good luck!

I've been thinking about going with Pro-Fab's mild steel K-member and A-arms when I build my front end. Anyone know anything about the durability of them? Will they hold up to speedbumps and hard cornering? Not both at once of course.....

they carry a disclaimer that their products are not DOT legal, nor intended for street use. its steel and its welded, its gotta hold up. anyone running one of these k members?

kandied91z- you had mentioned using the art morrison uppers? is the new strut tower braces for the shock included in this kit? here is a pic of what im reffering to.

thanks

right.......

i wish as that would be really nice! if you look close in that pic you might be able to see the art morrison brace. it goes on first and then the actual brace itself. it's powdercoated black so you may need a higher resolution pic to notice it. however if you go to art morrisons website you'll see the braces. the more or less have a "perch" that the spring resides in to help distribute the weight better.

i can't vouch for anything other then pa's on the street but it looks to be a similar design so i'm sure it would probably be ok. but you never know....the pa works though.

good luck.

edit: just took a better look and you can see the black brace points, if you stare closely at them you'll see what looks like a black piece separating the brace and the paint. they basically look like the standard brace you see thats polished but upside down with a lip for the spring to press against.

yes they are custom built strut braces from hunter motorsports. spohn also carries a similar design that is made by a member over at thirdgen.org but spohn is just a distrubutor....they look to be of the same design though.

more for looks if you ask me.
