which carburetor

im looking at edelbrock performer series carburetor's and i dont know if i should get the 600Cfm or the 750... i know the 750 will give more fuel but if im only running a 305 with new intake manifold headers and cat-back is 750 going to be to much? also for an 85 berlinetta do i get the manual or electric choke? thanks alot guys

i would go for the 600 w/ electric choke.i think the 750 would be to big...unless u had heads, cam, gears and stuff.

Agreed. You wouldn't need a 750 on a 305 unless it was heavily modded. Also stick with the electric choke unless it's a warm-weather-only car, in which case get the manual choke and remove it.

I have a holley 4160 and I just leave the choke open all the time. I really dont have any problems in cold weather either.
