car idles at 500 RPM when its warm
I wouldn't rely on the Tachometer competely to adjust your RPM's at idle, but if your car is idling so low that it lopes, then you can do a quick adjustment to the throttle plate stop. On the driver-side of your engine, at the Throttle body, if you look from the back of the throttle body towards the front of the engine, you'll see a recessed screw on the top-driver side corner. This takes a T-20 (maybe T-15) Torx bit. Simply screw the screw clockwise (tighten) until you are happy with idle.
