Can you get paint codes from the VIN?

If you don't have your RPO sticker in your console or on its' lid then there is another way if not.You can get a printout of the window sticker(the paper that was on the driver window when the car was new) at th egm dealership parts department.I believe that all you have to give the guy at the counter your vin # and maybe your title or proof of registration.You should see the paint code there.

N = norwood L= van Nuys
100001 body number
second line
interior Trim code
lower Body color
Upper Body Color
Paint type
Seat type
I have most of the trim colors here SO post back.
