Question Camshaft for 305 TBI

i am wondering whats the biggest cam you can put in a 305 TBI without having to get a custom ecm??

You can run an LT1 cam with stock ecm but its ... OK at best. Fuel pressure and timing will get you about 75% of the performace of it but your gas miliage will go to ****.

You can use any of the Crane series Compucams made for TPI engines. They work well and were specifically designed for the TPI without any PROM changes. The only decision you need to make will be based on your axle/trans options.....

Missed your question that it's a TBI engine. Crane cams also have TBI specific cams. Search on Cranecams website or the Summit catalogue.
