hey guys im just about to order thoose parts for my car... edelbrock performer EPS intake, edelbrock performer 600 CFM carb, dynomax cat-back, and im going to oreder a cam kit... my question is which of theese would be ideal with a stock lg4 except for the parts i just ordered
rpm range | duration int/exh. | lift int/exh.
2,200-5700 282/292 .465/.488
3000-6500 292/302 .488/.510
which one would be better for the engine with the parts i listed... and how much power would i see from each... thanks alot guys you all been a big help

Between the two you mentioned, I'd go with the first one listed. I'm no cam expert but I'd say that would be better suited for your 305. Might want to consider a set of headers soon too. Jayman350 is selling some Edelbrock Shorties for $50. Look in the For Sale section. Better pick them up before I do

yea,id def. go w/ the 1st cam. the intake u have will run outta breath at like 5500 or so,so the cam that goes to 6500 is pointless and a waste of money. bigger is not always the best...combination makes the engine run alot better.
and yes,i second the header comment, while u have the motor apart...keep it apart a little longer and buy a set offline used cheap or some hedman headers are cheap in price also...not sure of ur budget tho.
good luck
