Broken center console lid
My lids button was stuck so I undid the 2 screws holding the button and the 3 screws at the base for the hinge so that I could take the top off. Does anyone know how that flat spring is supposed to sit???

My spring broke a while ago, can't remember exactly how it sat. The part that is bowed out in the middle should be touching the button though. I improvised and re-shaped a paper clip to use as a spring!
