Brakes?

I have a 89 Iroc-z with standard drum rear brakes... I'm changing it to disk brakes.... I have the complete rear end, front and rear calipers and the brake booster... Is there anything else I need? and how hard is it to change the rear end... The rear end is out of a 89 350tpi auto camaro... Any idea what gear is in it???

Re: Brakes?

If its out of a 89 350 car the rear is a BW 9-Bolt with 2:77 or 3:27 gears and a limited Slip. Now is a good time to check what the ratio is and change the fulid. Any 9-bolt is a better/stronger rear over what you have. The Brakes should be 11.655 Dia rotors & Aluminum PBR calipers. Make sure you get the parking brake cables and the Porportioning valve from that rear. Shouild be a easy swap, if you have the tools and mechanical skills.
