you have essentially two choices: The Baer brakes, with big thirteen inch rotors, or the Chevy 1LE brake upgrade, which is effective for high performance driving, costs a couple hundred dollars less than baer brakes, but doesn't offer the same kind of visual stimulation as the Baer brakes.

Check with Steve Spohn at www.spohn.net for the 1LE brake upgrade. You can buy the parts from him, or "roll your own" like I did.

For the Baer brakes (which I really, really like BTW,) just head to their website. I think their upgrade is something like $1200 and will stop you fast enough to make your headlights pop out and go skidding down the road in front of you.

things can usually always be made to work.

you can get into a baer setup for as little as 800 with out all the goodies so it isn't to bad.

definately have to agree with the looks though, i love mine.

People on thirdgen.org have at least tried the LS1 brakes, you'll need to turn down a stock 3rd gen rotor until it's nothing more than a hub for the LS1 disc and probably fab. up your own mounting brackets for the calipers.
