Bleeding brakes

Bleeding brakes

Went to go bleed them today on my 84 and i could not get a wrench that fit the bleeder 9MM its to small 10MM fits but u wil round it off. (i DID it) 11MM is way to big. 3/8 is to small and 7/16 is way to big. So what size is it. or is it a special tool

Should be 3/8". Mine are.

Chances are they are either very corroded or rounded off. Very common on a 20 year old upstate NY car.

If it is rounded, you may be able to save it yet. A good pair of Vise-Grips usually frees them, but destroys them in the process. They are cheap and easy to replace. And, if you can't get them out, the calipers are dirt cheap too. Front calipers from you local parts store should be around $10-$15.

yea i got them had to beat the 3/8 on with a hammer
