Ram Air is a myth.

The new setup will definately suck better air than the hot underhood stuff. go with that.

Yah, this is definitely the one you want. Cold air and lots of it. And I believe you can still get the parts from Chevy.

Unless the engine is going to draw more than 700 cfm, the TPI intake will work just fine.

A TPI 350 only draws about 540 cfm so your modified 305 will probably draw about the same.

Wowzers is that a nice looking intake

mako350Z28- The car has a 600cfm Edelbrock on it, so I am assuming that's what it will be pulling in

BTW, do you guys think that my stock air-cleaner assembly will be ok, or should I get a bigger/smaller one?

why waste the money .......the stock air cleaner does work well .......a buddy of mine did his that way .
Your flexable hosing from the air cleaner should hook right up to it .......less the sensor of course .

turn your air cleaner the same way as in the picture and it hooks up perfect !!

OK, 600 cfm. Still, the TPI air intake will work just fine.

The stock air cleaner should be ok to use.

Actually what I meant was will the stock-sized air-cleaner be able to provide sufficient air-flow
