Post Better heads then Performer RPM

Hey guys. Someone with some experience with these heads, what other cylinder heads are noticably better flowing for a resonable price. They could be Iron too, but must flow better enought that when I bolt them onto a 350 lets say, I can tell a difference from RPMs to those new ones. Thanks.

Edelbrock Victor Jr... I've seen them for sale as low as $1180 thru magazine vendors..

215C intake, they flow 285 CFM (intake) out of the box supposedly which is good for a bit of power. I'd assume on an identically built mild street engine, the Jr's would make 30-50 more HP than the Performer RPMs. If you add a bigger camshaft, those Jr's wouldn't have a problem making 530 HP on a 350...i'd imagine a 248 duration comp cam, Vic Jr, heads and intake, .560 lift, big headers...350 cube...I'd expect at least 530 HP at 6500 RPM It'll wind man

Man, you guessed it, I got a Comp Solid Roller 280 Xtreem, it is 242/248 duration at .050, about .576 lift and 110 lsa. It is roller and solid, yeah, the Victor Juniors would make 500 HP and it would rev. I think I am going to do that. Use a Victor Junior Intake too! Maybe, its still a street car, maybe Performer RPM but not sure.

What if I told you I know where you can get great heads at unbleavible prices???? Would you jump? I did , espically if your building a 406 I was thinking 406 then I decided to get a forged crank and I went to a 422. any way. Do a lookup for Bill Mitchell Hardcore Racing Products.. In there World Products (which is the EXACT same as DART) Has a set of heads called the Motown heads, 220cc, 2.08/1.60 valves, aluminum heads, the works you can even get blended bowls and port matched in and oulets for shhh.... 780 something.. Email me if you cannot find the web page.. I will be back from vacation on the 26 of June. It's the best deal I have seen on a set of heads in forever..
