if you can find a complete set up the assembly of parts is actually pretty easy. the real expense is in the oil.

There is a A/C distributor in Texas called "Four Seasons", they are one of the largest suppliers in the U.S. for aftermarket A/C. I don't have the phone # here at home with me but I'm sure you could scan the internet. Also in the August '02 Chevy hi-performance magazine there is a ad for an A/c system (complete) for $1100.00 but it's for older camaros. If you called Classic Auto Air they may be able to help you with a reference for another A/C company. They are in Florida (813-251-2356).

I have an 86 IROC, I recently put a... well lets just say its a small block. I removed my A/C, I have everything still in good condition, the only part I don't have is there is a plastic cover, that I cracked and broke when removing it, you can pick up that plastic at a junk yard, but the A/C parts I have and will not be using. Let me know if you are wanting to deal and buy it. I live in Michigan, let me know, you can e-mail me at mitch01@prodigy.net
