Post Best Shop Manual?

I'm the proud new owner of an '86 Z28, and the car has some work that needs to be done to it. My question is, from your experience, which shop manual is best to use? I'm somewhat of a car idiot, so it'd need to be understandable. I already have the Hayne's manual, but I don't like it as much as the Chilton's manual for my othr car. I also found a Chevy manual for sale. Any suggestions?

If you look in the back of your owners manuel there should be forms for purchasing a helm manual. This is what they use at the dealer. All the info from Gm is in here. Cost u about $100 but its worth it.

helm. The rest are crap. You can usually grab a helm manual off ebay for around $40. Try search words like "86 camaro Service manual" and look at the official GM ones. Those are helm. I just snagged an 86 manual off ebay for around $20 a few weeks ago. I got my 85 hard-bound 3 ring manual for $6 a few years back!!!!
