Best place to find a new dashboard?

I'm looking high and low and can't seem to find a new dashboard for my 92 RS. I don't want a cover for it but an actual real replacement dashboard.
Any ideas on where to look? I'm not much for finding new items for these old cars anymore.

The entire dash assembly or just the pad?

Just the pad. I'm just trying to get an actual dashpad and not the faux cover that you put on the existing dashpad.
Thanks quickchicken. I'll check ebay and thirdgen.org.

Good luck. Pads in good condition are hard to come by. 90-92 pads are different, and are even harder to find.

Really? Damn. I knew that the Camaro and Firebird ones were different but I didn't know the 90-92 were different as well.
Well, the search begins.

Just to clear things up. The Camaro and Firebird pads are different. The 82-89 and 90-92 Camaro pads are different.

There is a hard plastic pad cover available through the aftermarket that actually looks really good if you cannot find a pad.

My old 89 iroc-z had the same pad as my current 91-z28. Bought both cars from the original owners.

Just looked it up in classic industries and the dash pad is the same for all years 1982-1992. Part number is G7654. Older book and price is $276 and that is for an original GM.

Rather than going by a catalog, I suggest you actually try to put a 90-92 onto a 82-89 or vice versa. The mounting points are different. You cannot tell the difference by looking at them installed.

They are 100% the same becauce I swapped them between the two cars when I sold my iroc-z because it was in better condition than my z-28. Bolted right up at all points with no problem at all. Have you tried it. I guess not.

Re: Best place to find a new dashboard?

Now, I don't know if it makes a difference but my 91 was one of the first one's of the assy line in January 1990. The 1990 camaro was halted in december 1989 because of the lose of the iroc-z sponsorship. So, I don't know if the dash pad installed on my 1991 was a left over. I can only say I swapped them with no problems and no extra hardware. Also when I look at year one it says 82-83 were different from the rest. Without having all the cars in front of me to see I don't really know.

My car was built in January 1990, left the assy plant in April 1990, and sold in June 1990. Bought the car from my brother-n-law.
