best exhaust for 305TBI

one of my friends has a 92 camaro RS with a 5.0 305 TBI engine in it. all else is stock, but he is also getting a K&N filter pretty soon. He wants it to be really loud. How would just straight pipes after the cat sound like? any other suggestions?? but remember.. he's pretty cheap lol. Thanks,
James

If his stock exhaust is good, he should remove the cat converter and get a hooker muffler or a loud flowmaster. If he wants full exahust, then hooker shorty headers (cheap), no cat, and Hooker 3" catback. It'll sound good.

Talking I got just what the doctor ordered?

Yo dude I got the exhaust for you! I had a 1992 RS TBI 305. I start out bone stock running a 16.04 in 1/4 mile after the exhaust system it ran 15.64. I have it for sale on ebaymotors. It's item #2411821969. I'm telling you it's worth it and if you don't buy that them go with something like that system! Later guys and girls

Carbs are for wimps

My systems all 3 inch but the y pipe and if you need emissions you need the AIR tubes on the headers or the smog pump will make your car run like sh*t.

He want's loud. Any headers and 3" exhaust, no cat The headers and NO CAT are the key to making a loud car, or a cut out before the cat. Won't sound good IMO , but it'll be loud. A bigger cam will help too. A straight through style muffler will be louder also. Can't stand annoyingly loud cars. I just want to kill my roommate every morning at 8-9 am when he starts his LS1 with long tubes and true dual 3" exhaust. Think rattling windows at high idle.

Just make sure its 3" all the way back. Companies sell 2.5" exhausts for tbi cars, but there's no use.
