Pocket Programmer 2 from Xtronics. This seems to be the programmer of choice.
Comes with cable power cord and software for DOS and Win too.

Eprom Programmer

I bought a Futurlec Eprom Programmer

http://www.futurlec.com/EPROMProg.shtml

and it works fine. They say it only burns 27 series chip but it also does 29 series (EEPROM) in the windows software. I use it to burn chips for my 86 camaro using AT29C256 chips and it works fine.

The pocket programmer software also works with this programmer. In actuall fact it is an identical Eprom Programmer to the Pocket Programmer 2 except a different case and software. So what ever the Pocket Programmer can program so can this baby at half the price. Ask them any questions you want they are very helpful.

I also use the pocket programmer II to burn my chips. I have also upgraded to using the AT29C256 EEPROMS rahter than using the old 27C128 EPROMS. I can burn a chip in about 15 seconds now where as I used to have to erase for ~20minutes and then burn one. Lately I have been doing sometimes 4 chips a day.
