bellhousing bolts

Alright I got a 305 supposedly out of an '86 caprice from the junkyard for my rx7 swap, but it doesn't have the bellhousing bolts with it so I can't mount it to my engine stand. Can anyone tell me the sizing and thread of the bolts I need to mount it. Basically the specs on the bellhousing bolts. Thanks in advance.

Re: bellhousing bolts

3/8" National course threads. Any grade five bolt will do, I believe they are about an 1 1/2" in length, but I am not sure.

Re: bellhousing bolts

You'll need longer bolts for the engine stand.
