Angry Battery keeps going dead...

I have a 88 camaro and my hatch electronicly locks for some reason it stopped locking and it somehow keeps killing my battery.There is a small box on the hatch that looks like some metal has been broke off is that my problem and if it is can i get another at advance???

yeah i could be. maybe its grounding itself.. and so ure battery is draining. i would definatly replace the unit..

if you have the z28 clock in your center consol, this is a major drain on battery, i have the same prob if my car sits for a week, dead battery. that stupid clock is hooked on constant power lead from the battery and just runs it dead, you should check that as well.

I've got the same problem, my hatch motor stopped running, and now the hatch won't shut and it's killing the battery. Let us know how you fix it.
