Can't hardly beat a Sears Diehard. Decent price and good service. That's all I have used for many years now, no problems.

Optima's are probably the most durable by design. No vertical stacked plates to smack into each other in crashes or other extreme "G" situations like 10sec passes.
Consumer reports rated the Walmart "EverStart"over the popular "DieHard" a while back, so I bought one and so far so good.(2yrs.$30)

91 Firebird with a brand new battery from the factory died on me two weeks after taking delivery. GM warrantied it. 6 months later, it died again, this time the entire charging system was checked. No problem. After that, it lasted for 6 years with no issues. GM Service Writer said it was wierd.

depends on what your doing....

for inside mounting a interstate drycell is the best way to go!

i love my drycell and would have on in everycar if they weren't so expensive; even with sponsorship the price is high.
