Anyone who has had their chip reprogrammed...
I am looking into getting my chip reprogrammed real soon here. Anyone out there had this done or know who is the best. Any info is appreciated.

Ed Wright is pretty good http://www.fastchip.com/
However, if you have access to a dyno with wide band 02 you can do even better. Local tuner added 15 ponies to my car by just tweaking my Fastchip on a dyno.

Had TPIS burn one for me. Runs real good for my engine. BUT..... I seem to be in the minority. Have heard horror stories about TPIS chips from others.
Ed Wright and Fastchips do OK work but any chip burned based on a list of engine specs is going to be an "educated guess." Chassis dyno tuning is the way to fly if you're trying to squeeze the most out of it. You will pay many hundreds more for it, however.

www.fasterproms.com is tops. They burn a chip to your specs as close as they can get. You install it and see if it works. Then they can send you the program with a cable to stick into your laptop that reads what the ECM is seeing and they burn it till it is on the money. I have had it and works for me. The buy in for the program is around $500. However, after you run the chip to your satisfaction, and say later you did some other serious mods like injectors, cam, heads etc, they will reburn it for $150.
Lingenfelter Perf Engr will take your car for a while and play with it till they get it right. LPE drilled a hole in my header to get to see what the O2 readings on the other bank were doing and reburnt my chip to my satisfaction.
In any case, you can buy the equipment for about the same price and do your own. HOWEVER, experience and knowledge are not for sale. IOW, if you blow up your motor like my buddy who did that with Accel DFI, you are SOL.
