any suggestions?
I've got a 1992 z28 with the 5.7 TPI and auto trans. Not a whole lot of mods. It has 3.23 gears, MSD coil and wires, blue streak brass cap and rotor, ported plenum, 52mm throttle body. AFPR, Hooker headers with flowmaster exhaust, no cats or emission junk, gutted air boxes with ram air boxes, k&n filters, hypertech fan switch, all the suspension has energy poly bushings, sphon sub-frame connectors, relocation brackets and sphon LCA's. All in all it runs strong with great oil pressure. I was thinking of doing a Scoggin-Dickey Vortec head kit with a new cam and Edelbrock hi flow runners or having a shop rework my l98 heads and get the Edelbrock Tpi intake and runners and a new cam. BTY what would be a good cam for either application? Any ideas?
might wanna look into like a Comp Cams compu-cam. i think they even have a special cam for a 350 TPI. if u get to wild on the cam,it will set the service engine soon light on and be really annoying....unless u take the bulb out.
