I have around 450HP in my 86 Iroc but the engine is gettin sluggish on me so I think im going to start a new project with another 350 4 bolt main. My plains are for a 500+HP 350 engine and yes its gonna be a street legal car thats gonna run off of 93 pump gas. So far I'm going to get a set of alum heads that flow up to atleast 320cfm, a 302 comp roller cam, roller lifters, atleast a 12.5:1 CR, 1.6 alum roller rockers, bore it .30 over, a holley dual plane intake, holley 750DP carb, K&N Filter, HEI Distrib. I'm open to any suggestions that you might have. I'm going on a budget for 4-5k. Im sure i can do this since its a Chevy

Change your valve springs. I'd say they're shot. How old are they? Original are 16 years now.

A 750 is a little small for 500 HP and I really doubt you're getting 450 HP with a 600 carb.

A 500hp 350 on pump gas with 12.5:1 and street legal? Keep planning.

the engine is about 6 years old itself and its been ragged quite a bit, i street race every weekend. yes 450hp on a holley 600, i put a 750DP on it and it just bogged out alot. and no i dont work for hotrod magizine, lol
