OK... I have an 86 Z-28 with 2.73 gears. My parents have a 90 Chevy Astro van. It's AWD and the front transfer case is junk. My question is: The van has 3.42 gears. Would they fit in my Camaro? My camaro has a 2 series carrier for the rear end. Since the van is a 90 and the third gen camaros were made until 92, Do you guys think they'd just go right in? Thanks in advance.

 

first you need to know if it is a 7.5/ 7-5/8 differential
then, you'd have to check if the van has the same series carrier (2series)
don't ask me where to get the info on this, i have no idea
