Another Exhaust Question
I apologize for posting _another_ "what exhaust should I get" question... but I'm in somewhat of a predicament. I have very VERY little cash to spend, and I'm looking for something that's noisy but not to the point of being deafening/obnoxious. Looking for the muscle car sound, something that will turn heads.
I was thinking of just running side pipes, but I was worried if that would create enough back pressure and/or be TOO loud?
If anyone has some suggestions for me, let me know. I was going to have regular straight pipes put in, but there's no place to run the second pipe except for right alongside the first...
All comments/advice are welcome.
She's a 305 with mild upgrades (carb, intake, soon to have a fairly aggressive cam).

Stick with an exhaust that is laid out similar to stock- y-pipe to a singe exhaust down the pass. side. Everything else is headaches. I second the Dynomax cat-back suggestion. Used it in 2 appications and it's definitely the best roar-for-the-buck in my book. Mellow, until you get into it. NOBODY will confuse it with a stock exhaust system.
