Alternator won't charge

Thumbs down Alternator won't charge
It's a brand new alternator...old one went bad under warranty (or so I thought) now the new one won't charge. It's gotta be in the wiring, but i wanted to know if anyone out there had any ideas on the subject.

Check the trigger wire to the alternator for a 12v signal when the key is turned to on position. The alternator must see this before it will begin to charge.
