Alternator

Well...just installed my March 3-piece Underdrive pulley kit and everything was fine for two days, although I noticed a little less cranking power on startup, but today everything went downhill. I was at the gas station after filling up it didn't start, I tried a few times, then gave it a slight amount of gas and it finally started. I went to my friend's shop and was there for a little while and went to leave and this time nothing would make it start so I had to jump it. Then on the way home, I watched my volts drop into the red and finally below the red. I parked the car and it's dead until I get it jumped again. The past two days before this the volts would only be slightly lower than usual during driving, and would get a little low when stopped at lights/traffic, where I would usually just slip the car into neutral to ease the load. What the do I do about this?

Re: Alternator

Have you checked your volts and amps out of the alternator. Maybe with the smaller pulleys there is not enough revolutions to produce the right amount of volts and amps

Common problem with the 3 pullies, thats why they sell the 2 pack for street cars.
