"well i role up to a stop at about 2 today i look over and i see a camaro it was the 3rd gen and it had the V6 and he threw revs at me so responded, engine mods: AEM CAI, chikara header, obx racing exhaust) and i take off my tires let out a small chirp but no spinning his spin a bit and he takes off i am about at his quater panel when vtec hits bwaah and from then on up to a hundred i had him by about half a car length first race ive won in a while."

Lucky it wasn't a modded 2.8 from around here, it wouldn't have been pretty...
Some guys I know are PDQ for 6-bangers...
My 2.8 / 5spd / 3.73 Coupe had No trouble making 30ft smokeys on take off... (Bad rust hole under the drivers seat forced me to sell it..I bought after it had sat in someones yard for a couple of years.)
I miss toying with imports with it...

why didn`t you fix the hole? when I bought my 85 Z28 I had to rebuild the floors front to back there stong as hell now

It's fun toying with ricers. Especially in a car that dynos 3 times the horse (probably more) at the tires that those cars produce total. I love hearing the guy in the Honda telling me how I need to tighten my loose belts before he revs his 4 banger to 9k rpm with a coffee can muffler. It's even funnier if they start spraying.
