I'm assuming you are referring to a third-gen when you ask this? If so, headers and intake manifolds are pretty easy to come by as well as many other things. The aftermarket for the TBI/TPI motors doesn't seem to be as great as that of the LT1/LS1/LS2/LS6 market, but there is still plenty of stuff to choose from. I didn't have any problems finding some bolt-ons to hop up my old 88 Formula and neither has my friend who just built up a heads/cammed 305TPI motor in his 92 Formula.

Re: aftermarket parts

The Chevy small block is one of the most popular engines of all time, so yeah, theres an aftermarket for it.

If you are talking about the v6, then don't waste your time swapping.

Re: aftermarket parts

Go to the parts store and get some aircraft remover in the aerosol can. Spray it on nice and thick. That should take it off.

It'll also do a great job at removing those pesky nests of Cessnas & Piper Cubs that always seem to try to build their homes underhood every fall...

Sorry man, with the way that was phrased, I just had to...
