The Car

Not sure the engine specs but I will have them soon I hope.. Im basically asking what I should go into first? Says it has exhaust done.. if you have any ideas what to start off with lemme know please.. im not too familiar with the 3rd gens.. Currently driving the 96 RS mommy-mobile ... if you could support your ideas with some links id be VERY greatful.. im looking for leather seat covers also if anyone has a good site..

by the looks of the rs grille, i'd say it's an rs which means 305 tbi
your "mommy-mobile" 96 will outrun it stock for stock
i might suggest looking for a z28 or an iroc-z if you want the best performance
then again, it may have a swapped 350 in it
get us some more details and we can help ya out further

o, and leather seat covers for your 4th gen or the 3rd gen you wanna buy? if third gen, this might work

I think that the teal color is by far the ugliest color on any third gen. Then i would have to say silver/grey. All bad colors on the car. i think the coolest third gen i have ever seen was yellow. When i have the $$$ to repaint, its going to be yellow.

if it's the stock 305 tbi, i think you should hold out for a z28 or iroc
it seems like you got some money (if you're going to repaint, i'd say so) so why not just get a z28 or an iroc with an engine that can go 1-2 seconds faster? plus you get the sweetness of saying "i own an iroc (or z28)"

i think you could find a nice z28 near you for around the same price and still in alright condition
check thirdgen.org/classifieds also, good place to look for a 3rd gen

good price and I actually like that color. My fiance's 92 Firebird is that color. I say buy it put n20 on it and when the motor goes worry about putting something better in.

Well thing is.. Im basically looking for Z's.. UI was hoping maybe they just put v8 instead of z28. lol... anyway Ive been looking for 4th gens mostly .. i saw a perfect one.. 1500 cash + take over payments (14k) for a 99 z28 ttops 6 speed with 30k miles.. .. but I cant get a loan yet. Anyway.. yeah im looking for z's basically.. Ill have this car for a while.. so im not looking to make any quick decisions.. I want a keeper instead of something to hold me off.

hey bro, I say get the car! $hit, if that car was for sale in my area I would buy it in a heartbeat as long as its in decent condition. It says it has low miles and looks to be in good condition and 2,700 is a damn good price for a 92. Even has a nice 4 inch cowl hell, you could probably talk him down a couple hundred too. the value of 3rd gens over here is pretty high. people ask 4,000 for rs's in sh*ty condition. one dealer over here wants 9k for a 92 Z yeah its an rs but thats ok, just build that baby up keep us updated!

That means its an L03
Its got the 16in rims though, probably the F41 suspention to. No t-tops and its automatic though
