advancing timing problems

advancing timing problems

last night i went to advance my timing and i put the distributor wrench down on the bolt of the distibutor but i didn't have enough room to turn in because of the fuel rail's, should i just see i can find a smaller wrench or just take the fuel rails off

you should be able to get int here with not too much struggle, they make special wrenches that have a 90 degree angle at the end to make this easier, I imagine you mean the bolt for the distributor hold down, it should be on the passenger side of the distributor hole.
