92 Rs ???
This is what i want , i want a late model 350 block that is roller ready, a comp cam ( small), and a set of dart heads . i want it too run off the throttle body. if i can get 300hp that would be great. that is plenty of power for a daily driver. so now all i need to figure out is what injectors i need and intake.
where is the holley components available from ? any info you guys can throw my way on this set-up would be great all the info so far has helped tremendously , thanks guys !!!

The CC XE258 should get you 300hp with decent heads. I've seen comparisons to the next up XE264 and it gave up a very little on top that you won't need anyways. But the throttle signal was crisp and maintained good low speed performance. If you like Dart I'd go with the S/R(stock replacement)Torquer for 350 with 64cc chambers.(Not confused with the 305 versions w/58cc chambers..)The Holley 670 Throttle body has larger injectors and throttle blades and idles better/flows better than stock.
So;
XE258(Your gonna need to maintain at least 17HG@idle as you know w/o reprogramming.)
S/R Torquer 350's
Crane 1.5 Full Roller Rockers
1" T/B spacer, and the injector(S) spacer
K&N filter element, either open element, flip the lid, or get a Dual Snorkel and fab cold air to it.
Holley 670cfm T/B
Holley intake, or port your own
Accel ignition coil and Module(More dwell & Hotter Spark)
Flowtech shortie headers
Have I forgotten anything??

CC XExxx is a Comp Cam Extreme (xtreme) Energy grind cam. L98 is a 350 tpi. You and I have an LO3, which is a 305 tbi.
If you stick with TBI, you'll need a 350, decent heads (dart, as you said, or I run the GM Vortec heads), a nice manifold (Performer RPM and carb to TBI adaptor, Holley Pro-Jection which is a tbi manifold so you wont need the adaptor), a mild cam, full exhaust and a Holley 670 tbi or a 454 ss tbi, both of which have 2" bores. I finally got ahold of a 454 off ebay, but its not on my car yet. Then I cant stress how important a custom chip will be. The car will run like crap without it. I want 275-285 horse out of my 305 tbi when its all said and done, but I think it'll be basically taxed at that point unless I want to put a big cam in it, which I dont want to do.
As for the fuel pump, once you do heads or cam on it then you'll need it. The stock one is garbage. I have the Walbro 255 lph and its nice because if I ever switch to an 8 injector setup, I wont have to swap pumps again.
Then the usual gears... etc.

Terms like: L98, LT1, G92, B2L....Are all RPO codes (production option packages)on a list found in you center console...You can plug the numbers in at 3rdgen.org and it'll tell you all of your car's option specs.
Like chuck said terms like: XE, XR,, are usually aftermarket catalog abreviations.
Actually since you want a roller cam it would be XR(Extreme Energy Roller)in most catalogs...
XE258 = Comp Cams Extreme Energy 258*Duration cam(advertised duration) .480"itake/.487"Ehaust lift....still a ton larger than stock...

i got my block back from the machine shop . i'am using a late model roller block , it bored .040. i havnt ordered my heads yet or cam.
I have decieded to stick with the TBI. I dont see why if i put a 670 cfm throttle body on it why it wouldnt have enough flow. 670 cfm is 670 cfm right ????
I was wondering can i use a holley air gap intake and put the TBI on top of it with a nitros plate under that for the spacer?
If i could get 275 hp off of motor and then spray a little nitrous lets say 250 shot that's about 500hp
. that is an awsome street car . heck i think i would be hard pressed to ever hook up that kinda power
.
Of course you wouldnt want to spay that much all the time but on weekends it wouldnt hurt the motor to spray that if it has the right stuff in it ???
What you guys think ?????
