91 Z28 Dies while driving

Hey guys, I have a 91 Z28 350 TPI that randomly dies while I'm driving it. It acts like the coil wire has been yanked off while driving. Sometimes it'll start right back and sometimes it has to sit for a while. I've not had it happen where I can troubleshoot it. Acts like its not getting fire to the plugs. Has anyone had this problem? it has a brand new coil, wires, plugs, dist. cap and rotor and new fuel injectors.. I'm at a loss.

Mine did the same thing for about 3 years. I do not drive my 91 much but one day it would not run. For me it was a bad fuel pump. Check your fuel pressure. Just a thought. Hope this helps.

I would replace the ICM (Ignition Control Module) under the rotor in the distributor cap. When it gets hot it stops working but once it cools down the motor would start with no problem. I would replace it with either an AC Delco or an Accel one. Do not use an Autozone brand or similar. They do not last.
