Post is a 91 Firebird V6 worth $3500

I had a 91 firebird with a V8, and it was totaled, so is the V6 worth it, or should I hold out for the harder to find V8?
and how much would it cost to change it over to a v8 (ballpark range)

Thanks ^_^

Hold out for a V8. I bought my 92 305 for $4000, and paid $2200 for my fiane's 92 V8 and it only needs a fender. They both have higher miles but a V6 better be real nice for $3500.

Well I would only be buying it for the fact that I miss my old 91, but your right, I should wait for a V8, it wouldn't be worth it, as it wouldn't really be the same.
Oh well ^_^
The V6 is in damned good condition, with lower miles (less then 100k)

It's a shame your not in are area. We have been debating on selling her car due to are 7 month old son. Plus it seems cars are much cheaper out here. Her car did have 145k miles on it but it's teal green, power everything, with the rare black interior.

Keep looking. Got mine with just over 100k miles for $3200!

It's got a few problems but it's a good runner.

I would bet that part of what you miss about the old one is the power from the V8. Hold out for what you want because a V6 just isn't going to be the same, IMO. Also, I would hate to see someone get away with charging $3500 for a 10 yr old V6 Camaro RS with almost 100K on it.

Yea, I miss the V8s power, I also miss the auto trans, my 86 camaro has a manual, and it sucks ^_^
I know manual is good in some situations, but its hard to save any gas in it.
Does anyone even know where to find a V8 '91 or '92 firebird for sale, I see afew online, but they are always out of state, I have like 2 months to look for one, so I have time.
