88 tpi iroc - is 286hr too much?
I recently bought an assembled longblock, specs:
350 one piece main, roller .30 over, decked and honed with torque plates, hypereutectic speed pro flat tops,(10:1 cr)
world sportsman II heads, ported for a fel-pro 1205 gasket, 2.02
valves, screw-in 7/16 studs, pro-magnum 1.6 roller rockers, comp cams "987"
valvesprings.
The cam installed is a comp cams#286h-r10 ( hydraulic roller ) - 230/230 with 110 degree lobe separation.
I've got accel 23# injectors, a hogged-out accel lower, AS&M Large Tube Runners, Edelbrock headers, Flowmaster catback, and a 2500 stall B&M convertor
I was thinking of putting in a hot cam when I was planning the rebuild myself, but this motor was built for a carb.
Should I pull the cam, or do you guys think it's tuneable for TPI with a new chip?
Thanks!

wow someone actually has the cam i used to use on tpi motors, you will need to get a chip burned for this cam to be stable, you will benefit from a larger stall 3-3500 and 3.73 gears min.i ran in the 11s with that cam back in the mid 90s it works good!
performance resource in NJ can tune your chip and now there are a few others tha can handle the chore,pcm4less is definatley worthy.
