ive been searching around and noticed that everyones engine compartments are very clean, no wires nothing. Id like to know where do you guys hide them? I think the guy who did an engine swap in my car just did a sloppy job, but there all covered int he black coil heat stuff, and it looks gross and sloppy. Where do you guys put them, or whats NOT needed and such? anything i can do. Also, along the firewall, what can be removed. I dont have AC so im guessing all the AC components.

 

Do you have a carb, TBI or TPI.

If it's a factory elctronic carb, there is very little you can do, other than get new flex tubing and replace the old burnt covering.

If you have a standard carb setup, then there is a lot that can be done. But, you must have a good understanding of electrical and GM wire colors.

 

yeah i dont know much. and no its not the factory carb setup its a street avenger with Electric choke. right now its in teh show because the engine seems to have a bit of a missfire, very shakey all of a sudden. i checked the timing and adjusted the carb and it didnt help so they're lookin at it. The guy has a background with Camaro's, so i think i might see what he can do.
