I'd check your Idle Air Control motor and Throttle Position sensor.

Try unplugging your trottle position sensor while the car is running. If your problem goes away, change your trottle position sensor.

Update! I tried unplugging the Throttle Position Sensor while the car was running. Nothing happend. I also unplugged the IAC and still nothing happend. Is unplugging the IAC the way to check it? There are also a few other things that happend at the same time my idle starting to get high. When i hit my brakes the rear defroster turns on (wierd). Also my tranny used to run at 2500Rpm @ 70MPH, now it runs at 4500rpm @ 55MPh. But the strange thing is my trans is shifting through all the gears. OH and i have a 700r4.

thanks, mike
