83 Crossfire Injection...

What problems are common with these motors?

Trying to work on them is a PITA one small mistake while working with the CFI & it takes a while to get it back right.

other then that not much.

hard to get parts and no mods, dont forget that. theres a reason why GM only used it 2 years.

If the injectors get out of balance it won't run right. They're also VERY picky about vacuum leaks. The intake manifold runners are tiny so they aren't much good for power (although they respond well to intake porting.)

i think the basic break down of a Crossfire intake setup is 2 "misplaced" TBIs, correct?

this is my buddys id and i am the one that owns the car in question and i know nothing about the sob but sometimes it gets good gas mileage and sometimes not and now the lastest prob is it every once and a while it will start to cut out in second gear but if i manual shift it runs fine
