700R4 Question
I was reading in another topic about double-pressing (1/2 throttle, let off, then full throttle to achieve the lowest possible gear within the limits of the rev limiter) the later model Camaros (A4/M6 trannies). I was wondering if this technique can be used on the 700R4 transmissions??
By the way, I don't even actually own a Third Generation, I don't even have my permit yet! However, I have been dreaming about owning my Third Generation Camaro for about 5 years now! Since the time is nearing for my saving every dime I earn, I am trying to learn EVERYTHING about these cars that I can.
Dream Third Gen:
1989 IROC-Z
L98 350 TPI
-Ported Plenum, home-made ram air, SLP Runners, ported lower intake or TPIS "Big Mouth, 52mm Throttle Body, 170 degree thermostat, MSD Coil and Wires, K&Ns, Edelbrock TES Headers, 3" Flowmaster American Thunder Exhuast, Catco High-Flow Cat(s), APR Heads, Hardened-Steel Pushrods, Keith Black Pistons, SLP Cam, Custom Burnt Chip, 3.42 gears, 1LE Aluminum Driveshaft, and all chassis sitffening components.
HAHAHA Definitely a dream, but its always good to dream... Any suggestions?
