my car was converted to carb...LG4 87 Z28...lockup is comp controlled right? so wouldnt this mean i probably am not getting lockup in OD because of this? if thats so would this fix it?

Can't be computer controlled cause my computer is on my garage bench and my converter locks with a manual switch using factory wiring
Gotta know someone who can find the correct wires and install the switch in-line. Also I went from TPI to carb setup. Painless sells a kit but you have to open up the trans to install it.

It's nice to have with a big converter. I probably get 4-5 more MPG around town honestly since the converter isn't loose with it locked and it kind of reminds you to keep your foot out of it just because of how low the rpms stay. Steeper gears may be needed also to keep the engine from bogging TOO low. I have 3.73's and 28's out back and it's cool so far. Goodluck!
