69 010 block in 87 iroc z help

I would say to forget the Muncie idea alltogether. A T5 will last for a while, but look to swap for a T56. Use the IROC's factory wiring harness for the engine, excluding the EFI stuff. Find a mechanical advance HEI distributor, your not going to wants the points peice of **** from '69. Most car oil pans should work, I used one from a '77 K10 in an '82 Camaro before. On ther oil dipstick just use a factory piece, you can bend them quite a bit with out kinking them. I have use them with a few different brands of headers. I'd say keep the AC if you can. The '69 camelbacks are probably not going to have accesory holes in them. (do they???) I have only seen a few sets of them that did have them, and I think most of them were sold over the parts counter instead of installed on cars, but you should be able to frabricate some mounts to make them work. I have drilled an accessory hole in the side of a double hump head before. Do you have any more questions that haven't been clearly answered for you.

thanks for the info, the only think im not sure of is the factory fuel pump and lines, will there be nessiary modifacation for the fuel system to work properly?
