I know its like asking how long is a piece of string, but what would be a decent 60ft time for a th700r4 '87 350 Iroc (stock), with a stock suspension running on newish goodyear eagles at 30psi?. Basic question I know but I just need a baseline. Thanks guys

hmmm...I dont know about 7 seconds, maybe in a Honda.

My car is all stock suspension/engine/trans.
My best 60ft time was a 1.9x, on Eagle GT II's.
Most times were in the 2.0x-2.1x range, depending on traction.

Stock suspension with Firestone SZ50 was 1.88
Stock suspension with Nitto Drag Radials was 1.65

That was when my car was stock and could launch. Now I have to learn to relaunch my car...

i read on an iroc-z spec board the 350 tpi did it quicker then the 305 and the 305 did it in seven seconds flat with power pulley im doing 55mph at 4000 rpm in first gear. now thats torque.

55 MPH in first gear, at 4000 RPMs? What the @#$& kind of gears do you have? I've got 2:73s in her right now, and at 35 I'm at 5000 RPMs in first...

 

hes asking about 60fts not 1/8 mile

 

i have the stock 323 or maybe 343 gears and i didnt say anything about the 1/4 mile either
