3rd gen for sale locally

theres a 82 z28 for sale in my town, its got a 4 speed, a new 350 (carbed) bored 60 over, flowmaster, brand new interior, nice paint, and i think 67000 original miles. 5000, think i should get it?

any estimates on hp

That's 67k on the body, or on the motor? What kind of tranny did he throw in there or is it the stock 5 speed? The set up sounds nice but personally, I'd be extremely cautious buying a bored engine etc.. Be sure you get every, single little spec of info about what's been done to the motor, this way, when the sh*t hits the fan, you'll be able to know exactly what part/piece needs replacing.

67k on the body i think. its got a 4 speed, so i'm assuming its a stock tranny. the car looks like a show car...its really clean.

4-speeds came stock in '82.

Have you driven the car? If it runs good, feels tight, etc. go for it! Try to talk him down of course though. Always try to talk to seller down.
