i have a 86 305 tpi and im building up a 350 and plan on useing the tpi again what mods do i have to do to the comp can i just get a custom chip burned or do i need the 350 comp i plan on going to 22- 24 lb injectors and its also a maf car if thats got ne thing to do with it, ne help is great

well, it depends on what you mean by "building it up"
if you'r emeaning you're adding more performance stuff (heads, cam, etc.) then it would do no good to have a stock 350 chip in there
just burn a new one, i heard you can get all the stuff for around 200-250$ if my memory is correct

 

i planed on doing a 350 roller with lt1 cam, 1.6 ratio rockers, vortec heads ,accel runners, ported plenum, and lower intake ,52 mm throttle body, adj fuel regulator, and either 22 or 24 lb injectors , with headers and no cat and custom exhaust , i think my current comp has a aftermarket chip in it (was told this when got the car) so i could still use my stock comp jsut get a burned chip ?
