anyone here know of anyone who built a roll bar / style bar for their convertible. Or know of a kit

 

I know thirdgenresource.org custom made theirs, and that they say they PLAN to offer it for sale, but I dont know if they do yet. You might want to go over there and check it out.

If you dont mind my asking though.... Why do you want it? I mean, yea, ok, if you manage to flip it, but seriously, do you have any idea how hard it is to flip a camaro? I dont think I could flip mine if I tried.

Personally, I wont ever put one on mine. I think they look horrible.

 

i would like to run more than once down the track before i get kicked off. also with the hp/tq i think i am going to run i dont want to twist the frame

 

anyone have any ideas.

This shop is just across the border in Windsor. He's done numerous cage/rollbar installs for local guys on this board. Taner, Roman, Sparky, Rick, Mine and many others. HE did mine with chrome moly per request and he did it how I asked however he made sure it was 100% NHRA legal and he made it an 8 point rollbar for added strength. He can do whatever you need at a seriously shockingly good price...Subframe connectors custom or he can weld your in if you have them, mini tubbing, custom race torque arm setups, etc! PM me if you want to see his work in my car in person, I'm right up I-75 from you south of detroit. Oddly I drive to Toledo on an almost daily basis Goodluck deciding! And yes I took out the backseats. Don't even try to imagine small kids or adults back there getting in an accident and ripping their head open on chrome moly tubing...Ditch the backseats, save some weight and the rollbar will look smoother also without having to reach "over" the backseats which are nearly useless to begine with after a rolbar. It looks emtpy kind of but some stereo stuff back there will help and maybe my igniton box, FAST computer and nitrous bottles etc will look nice back there.... I don't know yet!

Hes gona be mini tubin it also... I with I wasnt leavin for FLA on the 16th So I could drop it off now....
