383 Build up

O.K I have a 350 thats is being built to a 383

This is what I have for it so far :

Scat cast steel 383 crank
Scat forged rods w/ARP bolts
KB hyperutectic (sp?) pistons
Speed pro Bearings

now for my ?

I will not have the cash to finish this engine next spring if I build it the way I want. Also I`m running a T-5 behind it ( I know a T-5 won`t stand up to this engine I plan on a T-56 for my next project). I want to put AFR 195`s and a Team G intake w/ a 750 holley on top and a morrso kick out pan and a high flow pump on the bottem and I want a retro fit roller cam and lifter set well all these high end parts are pricy so should I use my 305 stuff next year.

305 intake w/ the Q-jet
the 1 5/8 headers
and the oil pan maybe the pump?
Cam and lifters ?

I`m allreay $3000 in to this engine this is what some of the other parts cost

AFR heads $2300
cam kit $1200
intake $400
carb $600 and so on

should I use some of the 305 stuff a cheap set of 350 heads. I can get these cheap. and forget the roller stuff or just wait till next year and finish the engine right?

Personally, I would just wait until you finish the motor... and drive something else in the meantime.

But that is all up to you
