350 TPI rebuild kits?

hey everyone. can someone PLEASE tell me where i could find a rebuild kit for an 86-92 350 TPI engine? (that's the L98 for anyone who was unsure)
I cant find a rebuild kit to save my life! i talked to some guy at summit and he gave me the part number for one but it looks like it uses really crappy parts, and it's for stock rebuilds. I'll be pulling about 485hp out of this 350 so i need something that can hold that.
can the stock crank hold that much power? everything will be internally balanced, if that makes a difference.

thanks for all the help everyone!

What exactly are you looking for in the rebuild kit? I know there was a complete gasket kit on EBay yesterday. That will get you started.

485hp? TPI? Elaborate.

I've heard stock cranks are good to around 500hp but I wouldn't trust it. A Scat 9000 cast crank ($200) is good to 600hp. Coupled with some Scat I-Beams and Hypereutic Pistons, you'd be ready to rock. There's a place online that sells that exact combo for $539. PM for the address (they aren't a Supporting Advertiser).

I believe Callies makes a good rotating assembly.

in a rebuild kit Im looking for pistons, main and rod bearing, gasket set, main seals, piston rings.... uhhhh.... and if im missing anything that comes in a basic rebuild kit, then that too

as for the 485, i'll be using a TPI L98 and replacing the fuel rail and upper part of the intake system with the Holley Stealthram system and most likely custom burning a chip for the ECM to help it perform with the new intake.

i cant seem to find the setup that I had picked out before that was 483 hp, but i just changed one to make it 501hp

it gets most of it's power from the hydrolic roller camshaft with 0.500 lift on 1.5 rocker arms. it's got low performance ported and polished heads with large valve (2.02/1.6) and 10.5:1 compression. it's peak hp of 501 is at 6500 rpms, and peak torque of 458 is at 5000 rpms. this is definately a higher RPM setup. it's overall performance on the quarter mile would be great with say... 3.43 rear end and a 200-4R tranny with a 2500rpm converter. even at 2000 rpms the engine produces 336 ft lbs of torque.

what do you guys think?

Sounds great! Except a little optimistic. If that program you're using is fairly accurate, I'm one jealous guy!

Stealthram? Ok, that clears it up. Here I thought a LTR setup making over 450hp

what's LTR?
yeah the TPI system i got to make numbers up to about 425, but after that there just wasnt enough high end capability. the TPIs all about some low end torque, which you probably already know. I just found that out recently

what's your setup consist of?
dont be jealous, cause if i build it and it doesnt work out THAT well, then i'll be out a bunch of money and i'll be PISSED
